dc.description.abstractThe roles of task analysis in the software engineering life cycle are considered and a method is described which is suitable for capturing the high level communication tasks in offices. The contribution of this method to the building of a generic office model and its role in the generation of scenarios for future early requirements analysis are discussed.en
