Data was acquired across five hospitals Ð Lister hospital, Southend hospital, Royal London hospital, Royal Free hospital and Wirral hospital Ð between March 2012 to December 2014.

Description of data:
This dataset makes accessible the data from a prospective study exploring the impact of using alternative scaling parameters for dialysis dosing on survival in haemodialysis patients.

Description of data columns:

Study ID:
Anonymised study ID for each participant

Survival:
Whether the subject is still alive or not at the time of study completion; 0 = Alive or censored, 1 = Dead

Survival_time_months:
The duration each participant was followed-up in the study in months

Age_baseline, Sex:
Age at the time of recruitment and sex of each participant

Ethnicity:
Ethnicity of each participant; 0 = White, 1 = Asian, 2 = Black

Comorbidity_score:
Comorbidity score derived from the self-report comorbidity questionnaire

BMI, Height and Weight:
Body Mass Index, height and weight for each participant

Dialysis_Vintage_years:
Dialysis vintage in years for each participant

Haemoglobin:
Mean haemoglobin for the study duration expressed as g/dL

Watson_Volume_ml:
Mean Watson volume expressed in millilitres 

RPAQ_MeanDailyMET:
Mean daily MET estimated from the Recent Physical Activity Questionnaire

spKt_V:
Mean Single-pool Kt/V for the study duration

BSA:
Mean Body Surface area using Haycock formula expressed in m2 for the study duration

REE:
Mean Resting Energy Expenditure expressed as kcal/day for the study duration

TEE:
Mean Total Energy Expenditure expressed as kcal/day for the study duration
