      SR-12813 inhibits cholesterol biosynthesis in Hep G2 cells via an enhanced degradation of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase. Here we also show that SR-12813 inhibits cholesterol biosynthesis in vivo. ...
