dc.description.abstractThe cross section of the reaction Ge-70(alpha, gamma)Se-74 has been measured over the bombarding energy range of 5.05 MeV <E(alpha) <7.80 MeV using single and coincidence gamma spectroscopy techniques. The experimental S-factor values are in agreement with theoretical statistical-model calculations. Reaction rates for the Ge-70(alpha, gamma)Se-74 and the inverse (gamma, alpha) reactions have been determined for appropriate temperatures.en
