This paper, describes the biomedical testing of an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction using an interference screw fixation on the bovine and porcine tissues. The harvesting procedure, experimental setup, mechanical testing, and evaluation of the tendon graft interference screw fixation are all presented throughout this study. A guideline has also been introduced to evaluate the basic mechanical properties of the bone components and the tendon graft.en
