Abstract
The paper proposes a new control structure for sensorless induction motor drive based on a five-level voltage source inverter (VSI). The output voltages of the five-level VSI can be represented by nine groups. Then, the amplitude and the rotating velocity of the flux vector can be controlled freely. Both fast torque and optimal switching logic can be obtained. The selection is based on the value of the stator flux and the torque. This paper investigates a new control structure focused on controlling switching frequency and torque harmonics contents. These strategies, called ISFDTC, indeed combines harmoniously both these factors, without compromising the excellence of the dynamical performances typically conferred to standard DTC strategies. The validity of the proposed control technique is verified by Matlab/Simulink. Simulation results presented in this paper confirm the validity and feasibility of the proposed control approach and can be tested on experimental setup.

E.; van de Ven, Glenn (2012-01)We investigate the [3.6]-[4.5] Spitzer-IRAC colour behaviour of the early-type galaxies of the SAURON survey, a representative sample of 48 nearby ellipticals and lenticulars. We investigate how this colour, which is ... -
Pasteuria endospores from Heterodera cajani (Nematoda: Heteroderidae) exhibit inverted attachment and altered germination in cross-infection studies with Globodera pallida (Nematoda: Heteroderidae)
Mohan, Sharad; Mauchline, Tim H.; Rowe, Janet; Hirsch, Penny R.; Davies, Keith G. (2012-03)The Pasteuria group of Gram-positive, endospore-forming bacteria are parasites of invertebrates and exhibit differences in host specificity. We describe a cross-infection study between an isolate of Pasteuria from pigeon ... -
Plasmids containing one inverted repeat of Tn21 can fuse with other plasmids in the presence of Tn21 transposase
Avila, P.; Delacruz, F.; Ward, Elaine; Grinsted, J. (1984-06)In the presence of the Tn21 transposase, plasmids that contain a single Tn21 inverted repeat sequence fuse efficiently with other plasmids. This reaction occurs in recA strains, is independent of the transposon-encoded ...
