This research delves into Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) strategies and quality improvement measures in acute-care hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a focus on the role of pharmacists. It examines how the pandemic heightened the threat of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and the necessity of effective AMS implementation. Conducting a systematic literature search from 2007 to March 2021 using the PRISMA 2020 flowchart, the study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various AMS strategies and measures. The research underscores the significant contribution of pharmacists and the need for their expanded roles in AMS during pandemics like COVID-19, offering crucial insights for healthcare improvement.en
