dc.description.abstract | This paper explores the ways in which the discipline of Authentic Movement (Pallaro 1999) might be used as an avenue for developing the ‘wise inner teacher/higher self’ (Rowan 1993) or the ‘internal supervisor’ (Casement 1985 and 1990). In the process of practising authentic movement there is an experience of being both a ‘mover ‘and a ‘witness’. The author is proposing the witness may be similar to the benign ‘observing other’ of the individuated internal supervisor. | en |
