Experience of using Coad and Yourdon object-oriented analysis and design
Abstract
This document presents an analysis of the use of the Coad and Yourdon object-oriented methods detailed in the two editions of their book on analysis [1],[2] and the next volume in the series concerning design [3]. The purpose is to assess the suitability of the approach to object-oriented analysis and design and to clarify the differences between the two editions of the book covering analysis. The reader is assumed to be familiar with a version of the book on analysis, so only brief notes about the method are included.
