What can I expect from my placement?

This book discusses the needs of overseas students before they can commence the Overseas Nursing Programme (ONP). It explores techniques and tips for work and study, including practical exercises. It features particular information to steer the student through the ONP and also employment within the NHS. Furthermore it creates awareness for the student of the responsibilities they will face during employment. Some issues that are explored are: working in a multicultural society, communication and language skills, and Reflective practice.
