dc.description.abstractThe focus of this reported research is on the optimisation of input RF power in SCM-based free space optical (FSO) systems to minimise the average BER because higher input RF power does not always provide FSO systems with better performance, due to the effect of the third-order intermodulation (IM3) product. Analysis results demonstrate the optimum input RF power and the minimum average BER.en
