Paper presented at the 10th International Conference of the International Society for Third Sector Research (ISTR) July 2012
This paper focuses on organisational benefits that third sector organisations (TSOs) derived from using European Union funding. Drawing on contemporary concepts around the co-production of publicly funded services this paper explores and highlights the importance of conceptual frameworks which provide a holistic perspective on organisational change to support the detection of positive organisational developments. The paper concludes with the argument that future research should focus more on the interaction between individuals of third sector and public sector agencies who between themselves create positive organisational impacts, and less on government policy or institutional structures.en
