2x Prototype ASEF Systems - (D10) : Automated Sample Extraction from Filters

The Automated Sample Extraction from Filters (ASEF) unit is a prototype automated aerosol sample extraction unit. The application is for the detection and identification of pathogenic micro-organisms (bacteria and viruses) and protein toxins in the environment. The unit is capable of stand-alone operation but is also capable of forming the basis of a modular component suitable for incorporation in an integrated aerosol collection, sample extraction, processing and bio-identification system.
