Development of an online pesticide information system for Chile : Final report to Syngenta Chile

Report describes an online software package that provides farmers and growers with a quick and visual way of identifying the most effective and environmentally safe pestciide product. The system was designed to help (a) compliance with regulations governing the use of pesticides (e.g. prevent recommended maximum residue levels from being exceeded), (b) compliance with requirements of importing countries, and (c) be a powerful tool for those seeking certification to international standards.
