You, Me and It

The publication accompanies a major mid-career retrospective by prominent British performance video artist Marty St James. The catalogue examines the development of video portraiture since the mid 1970s and has an introductory essay by Nina Colosi, (Streaming Museum, New York), a contextual essay by Matthew Shaul (UH Galleries) and a transcribed interview with Marty St James conducted by Julie Lawson (Scottish National Portrait Gallery). The publication includes extensive illustrations of St James' past projects and new installations at UH Galleries, Hatfield.
