The importance of research and participation in formulating child health policy

Despite some evidence of the successful involvement of children in the development of health policy in the UK, the outcome of this process and its evaluation are limited. This article reflects on the development of child health policy and how the views of children and young people may serve to inform and improve on their own lives and those of future generations
